PANSIT BIHON

Honestly I didn't good in cooking but I want to share this one of my favorite recipe. PANSIT BIHON, first prepare this ingredients:

Ingredients

  • 1 kl. special bihon or any other brand preferred
  • 1/2 kl. pork, cut into small thin slices / 1/2 kl. chicken, cooked, deboned, and cut into thin slices
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • ½ medium-size sliced onion
  • 1 big carrot, sliced into strips
  • ¼ cabbage, sliced into strips
  • 1 chicken breast cut into strips
  • ½ pound peeled shrimps
  • 1 cube Knorr chicken bouillon
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Procedure:

1. Remove the noodles from packaging and place in a colander. Run hot water over it for about 5 minutes or until it softens. Alternatively, soak bihon noodles in a big bowl filled with hot water for 5 minutes or until it gets soft. Drain the liquid and set the noodles aside.

2. Pour oil into the wok or cooking pan. Saute garlic and onions in medium heat. Add the chicken and shrimps. Continue cooking until the chicken meat turns white and the shrimp becomes orange in color.

3. Add the carrots, chicken stock, and bouillon cube. Turn up the heat until the liquid boils. Let it cook for another 2 minutes.

4. Lower the heat and add the bihon noodles into the pan. Put the cabbage and soy sauce in. Mix all the ingredients together while allowing the noodles to seep the liquid. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes for the noodles to thoroughly cook.

5. Serve hot in individual plates. If preferred, squeeze half a slice of lemon over pancit before serving. Do not add lemon into the rest of the noodles because other people prefer to eat the bihon guisado just as it is.

Cooking time estimation: 15-20 minutes. I only read this. hehehe

Happy eating guys,
