My mother-in-law always buy a newspaper every morning because aside watching news in television we also love reading news in a newspaper especially local news. What is the purpose of a newspaper, anyway?

The purpose of a newspaper is to catch you up on current events things that are happening around plus it has coupons sales paper the newspaper gives you alot of valuable information you can use to get a job or find a house sky's the limit with a newspaper.

To make money from selling space to advertisers. Newspapers provide a place for advertisers to display their wares. Yes, they do tell some news tales. But informing the masses is secondary to making money.
